Chambray Shirt for the Office

I've seen a lot of bloggers confess their love the chambray shirt.  I am not sure I am in love with them yet but I like how a lot bloggers are styling it appropriate for an office environment.  Here's my stab at wearing a chambray shirt for work.  It felt a little casual for me which was fine since I wasn't meeting with any clients.

So last month, one of my daily blog reads, Bravoe Runway, Bessie shared with us some of her shoes from her beautiful shoe collection that does not get worn much.  Her goal was to style her outfit based on her shoes.  I was inspired by her blog entry since I am so guilty of wearing the same shoes over and over.  I tend to buy shoes like everything I do - on impulse with no idea what I would wear with it and hence most of shoes that are a little different does not get used much.

Take these beautiful heels from Vince Camuto, I probably have had them for over 6 months and have never worn them.  I think in my twisted head, I thought I could only wear these heels with brown and pink clothes.

Do you buy shoes with outfits in mind?

  2. You have a real knack for pulling these outfits together. The shirt is just perfect with that skirt, but the shoes are even better. You must get a ton of comments at your work, and inspiring many I'm sure.

  15. That's something I'm totally guilty of! I love shoes, and I know I have bought a lot of them just because I like them without thinking much about how they would go with my clothes! These pumps are totally gorgeous, the pink details in the back are lovely! And the pattern mixing in this outfit it's definitely one of the best ones I've seen! I don't think you can beat paisley, chambray and polka dots!
