As you are reading this, I hope that I have survived my running weekend and I should be on the way back to California. I am NOT looking forward to the long pain ride back home since this will cause my legs to stiffen and make walking a bit difficult. I really am not glad it's Monday but I am glad that I have another short work week this week and next week with the holiday.
I bought this J Crew anchor shirt in the spring and never had the opportunity to wear it. I have no idea how else to wear this...please help me with some ideas. It's a cute to and I want to give it more love.

I think it would be cute with just a white T underneath and a pair of boyfriend jeans for the spring.

DeleteAlice I'm loving this look on you! The wide leg jeans are perfect and I love the polka dot sweater over the orange shirt! Hope it went well this weekend :)!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Rita! We had a blast and I am still walking :)
DeleteSo fresh and cute. There's just something about polka dots that makes you happy, isn't there? That anchor blouse is so cute. I'd love it with a solid navy sweater or blazer and a navy and white striped sweater would be adorable. So jealous of your bright sunny pictures. Living in Chicago is mostly gray, gloomy and cold all winter. Makes it really difficult to shoot good blog pictures.
ReplyDeleteI agree that polka dots alway makes me happy :) I am glad and thankful to live in Southern CA and have sunny weather year round. We are wimps out here freezing if the temps are around 50s.
DeleteYou look soooooo cute and chic in this outfit. I absolutely LOVE the layering you did and the bold color. I hope you have a safe travel back to California!

Thank you so much Marie!
DeleteLove this sweater/shirt combo. Don't you have a tan leather skirt that might work with this ... and boots?
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the sore muscles, kiddo, and enjoy your break!
Thank you Jan for that combo....I am gonna give this a try!
DeleteI hope you had a great time running in Florida and that you got home safe and sound to recover your muscles! I really like how you have mixed prints in this outfit, and orange looks amazing on you! Have you tried wearing this shirt with that fur vest that you recently wore with your chevron dress? I think it can also look great under a neutral blazer and one of your lovely pencil skirts.
