So I used to be not a fan of sequins at all. Mostly because they are very itchy to wear and I always associate it with mother of the bride kind of looks. I still don't love sequins since they still itch but I do love all the fun colors in comes in besides black & gold making it very festive. My answer to stop the itch is to wear a cami underneath and problem solved :)
Are you into wearing sequins?

Thank you Steph - hope you are staying warm and not impacted too much by the snow.
DeleteI LOVE your cobalt pants! And the sequin tee is so, so chic! You look great. I don't think I can pull off sequins very well, but I love the way you paired it in this outfit!
ReplyDeleteThank you Ana. I am still warming to sequins. We will see how else I can use this top ;)
DeleteSo pretty! I love the sequin top and these colors together. I think I need more sequin in my closet, but I'm always afraid they'll fall off!

I feel the same way about sequins and don't own too many sequins clothes. We will see how this one holds up.

ReplyDeleteThank you Antionette - you do the same!
DeleteThe blazer looks great on you...love it with the sparkly striped top :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Tara - I hope you were not too impacted by the snow storm.
DeleteI feel the same about sequins. I still think they're too "new years eve" for me! But I love your sequin tank paired with a blazer and bright pants. You look awesome!

I am such a fan of wearing black & whites too but sometimes I feel the need for color. This outfit sure does the trick :)
DeleteAlice you look SO beautiful! This has to be one of my all time favorite outfits from you! Those blue pants look incredible on you! Love the sequin top and green blazer! The colors really compliment each other!
ReplyDeleteYou are too sweet Rita!
DeleteI love sequins, and never associated it with MOB look. MOB look is the long evening gown with a jacket which my Mother has already informed me that when I get married she will NOT be wearing that. She's been saying this for a good 8 years now but still no remote signs of her daughter walking down the aisle in a white dress! lol!
ReplyDeleteYour mom has got such awesome fashion sense! You crack me up! I am sure when it is your time - your dress will be gorgeous & your mom as fabulous!
DeleteI too love sequins & also wear something underneath! Those electric blue pants look fabulous on you & thanks for sharing the links....I found 2 new blogs to follow!

DeleteThat green is such a beautiful vibrant shade. Love the sequins too. I love sequins, but the itch is too much for me even with a cami :(
ReplyDeleteI was surprise how much more comfy the cami made me feel. That's a bummer that doesn't work for you. Hope you are having a great weekend Lisa!
DeleteI love this fun striped sequin top on you! I am a huge fan of sequins, especially during the holidays, but even after too! Planning on some sequins for Valentine's day for sure!
