Lake Arrowhead

This past weekend we drove up to Lake Arrowhead, a local Southern California mountain.  We've had some really warm weather in the past couple of weeks so we weren't expecting much snow in the area.  Lucky for us, it rained Friday and we were treated to a beautiful snow covered mountains. The weather warmed up considerably by Saturday and all the snow was melting rapidly from the trees and by Sunday - there was barely any snow left on the ground.  

Hope everyone had a great weekend.  I am so tired from the time change - I think I need a day or 2 off to adjust to it.  Have a great week!

    Also, to answer your question, the shoes are comfy. I have bought a few pairs from ON now and have been pleased!

    1. I am not really a fan of the cold either - growing up in Hawaii 60s is freezing to me. 3 days is just the perfect amount of time for me :)

    1. Honestly - I think I prefer looking at the pretty snow capped mountains than being in the snow but we go up to have a good time with friends & we had a blast playing in the snow.

  10. Love your layers ... aren't layers with jeans and scarves and boots just the best? I live in them here in winter.

    1. Thanks Jan - I agree jeans/scarves & boots are a must for the winter. I don't get to wear it much here in Southern CA but when I have the chance - I use my winter scarves.

  13. Glad you enjoyed our weather up here in Lake Arrowhead. We usually will have another dusting of snow before Mother's Day. Nice pictures!
