This post is about my boots but but let's talk about pocket first.....
What is it about pockets in dresses/skirts that makes it so awesome? When I buy a dress/skirt, I don't really look for pockets but I get so giddy whenever it comes with it. These faux leather pockets ups the fun factor in an otherwise plain shift dress.
Please tell me I am not the only one that gets excited about pockets in dresses and skirts.

I have heard so many great things about Frye boots and last year I caved and bought a pair during Nordstrom's anniversary sale. I was a bit nervous about spending a couple hundred dollars for a pair of shoes. I do prefer to spend a bit more for boots since they tend to last a lot longer than my heels. I have to say that these boots are really comfortable and love that they come in wide shaft for the big calve girl like me. I selected a style that is pretty basic so that they will last for years to come.
Here's a look back at when I first wore these boots on the blog last year (here).
