Dressing for the Job

I can't believe it's already the 2nd week of March which means St. Patrick's Day is just around the corner.    My husband is part Irish so this celebration is a big deal around our house.  We have made leprechaun  traps (didn't catch any), green eggs and milk to corned beef & cabbage.  My favorite is Irish Soda bread which I fell in love with when I visited Ireland many years ago.

In celebration of St. Patrick's day, I will be wearing something green all week to show how you can show you Irish pride or avoid being pinched.

I wore this outfit a few weeks ago to a meeting with the CEO, CFO and controller of a company.  When I attend meetings with the C's I tend to stick with muted colors and patterns.  My outfit is not the focus and I want to make sure I have the image of a trusted banker look on.  Though this is very muted, I am still able to play with mixed patterns with my top and shoes without being over the top.

I thought I had grabbed my black blazer with this and didn't realize it was navy until seeing these pictures.  I sort of liked how the navy looks against this.

Does your job require to you to dress a certain way?
