A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to fly home to Hawaii and attend one of my dearest friend's wedding. I knew I wanted to wear something really comfortable because I am just not used to the humidity of Hawaii.
I bought this dress during one of the many Loft sales really with no occasion in mind other than that it's really cute. I adore anything lace and this teal color was a bit different to what I have. I figured that I could probably wear this to work if I were it with a blazer. When the dress arrived, I loved the back, it's shear lace which I forgot to take a picture of but you can see it here.
So do you buy special occasion looking clothes with no plans to wear it to and think of ways to use it everyday?
Totally unrelated but a funny story. You see how lush the plants look, this means that it perfect breeding ground for mosquitos. I totally forgotten how mosquitos love me. I can be standing right next to my husband and he would have no bites while you can see the mosquitos landing on me and attempting to bite me. So by the end of the night, I must've had a dozen mosquito bites and was scratching like a mad woman. The worst ones were near my ankles and caused my ankle to swell. Lesson learned, when in doubt, just bring Off with me.
