I was at the tailor the other day and there's a lady getting a bunch of items altered. She brings out a pair of grey pants and says to the seamstress, "I really like these pants but because they are grey, I need to make it more spring." Out of curiosity, I peaked at the pants and they were just simple grey slacks and not in a heavy wool or wintery material. She decided to have them cropped to make them spring like.
I sort of wanted to stop her to tell her how about using colors to make it more spring like? Of course I didn't and kept my mouth shut since it's none of my business what she does with her pants.
I am pretty sure I thought the same way about colors before being exposed to so many great fashion blogs. I have learned that you can pretty much wear any color year round and it's all how you pair it.
Here's my attempt to spring-terized my grey sweater. What do you think?
