My hubby was out on business travel last week so my photographer was unavailable. I turned to my trusty 7 year old to take these pictures. Let's say that our usual 5 minutes morning shoot took about 3x the time. He was a good sport and did as best as he could.
It's fun to have him to take the pictures to take it from a different angel. I must say that the close up picture may not be as flattering with my double chins in it's full glory but I appreciate him wanting to help his mama out.
We survived without daddy and so happy he is home!
Eyelet is always a popular style in the summer. When I saw this skirt at J Crew, it caught my eye because it's 1. a midi skirt, 2. a pretty color that will transition well into fall and 3. the eyelet is really dots and that translate in brain to polka dots. I am 99.99% sure I did not another skirt but I am sucker for things that catches my eye.
Today, I thought I would play up on the dots and pair it with a polka dot top.
