Romper Bandwagon

Oh the days are flying by so quickly how can it be that I turned 43 this past weekend?!  I swear I just turned 30 last year.  Now days birthdays are pretty low key (I think I stopped counting a while back) and we don't really do much.  On Saturday, I started the day with Crossfit for an awesome workout (my quads are still screaming from all those wall balls) and headed to my son's basketball game.  We went to have some Dim Sum for lunch and headed home for a nice nap.

We decided to head out to Laguna Beach and spend the late afternoon at the beach and have dinner there.  It was a wonderful way to spend the day with my family.  It has been extremely hot and humid lately and this is what I wore to dinner Saturday night.

I talked about in this post how I have been on a hunt for a romper.  The Loft romper looked awful on me and it was returned.  But this Target romper was a keeper.  I like that it was easy to get in and out of (there's a small button at the back of the neck).  I am not a huge fan of the cowl neckline but this one wasn't too much it and the pockets and the light weight of the romper won me over.

So now that I have a romper that I like, I can say the hunt is over.  I am not sure I really need another one and really am more of a fan of a two matching separates which gives me more styling options.

My work life is about to get really crazy busy so I will be reducing my blog post to Mondays and Thursdays.  I am hoping the madness is temporary so I can go back to having a good balance life.  Until then, you may not see me as much in the blogging world.
